Richard’s broad skill-set of agency management, academic research and brand consultancy provides a balanced perspective to the administration of Aprais’ proven measurement system including performance advice, sensitive diagnostic evaluation, and prescriptive management recommendations.
During Richard’s agency career he worked closely with leading international brands for Nestlé, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Nabisco, Wrigley, Diet Coke and Honda culminating as chairman and representative director of Hakuhodo:Lintas in Tokyo. He gained a Master of Arts in Communication by Research from the University of Canberra as their course convenor and senior lecturer for the Bachelor of Advertising program, during which time he delivered conference papers in Dubai, Seoul and Washington DC. Richard currently writes and facilitates professional development courses for CAANZ/AUT School of Communications.
Richard is a fifth generation New Zealander whose interests span travel, photography and maritime history, while windsurfing, cycling and walking preserve a level of fitness.
